USS Nautilus SSN-571 was the world's first operational nuclear-powered submarine and the first submarine to complete a submerged transit of the North Pole on 3 August 1958.
The USS Nautilus is our latest addition and the most detailed cutaway to date. This fine six layer cutaway accurately displays every compartment, even the back half of the boat, in amazing detail. Years of research have gone into the development and those who have seen the cutaway have praised its accuracy.
The framed size is 22.5" wide by 8.5" high.
Natural Basswood finish (as pictured) is mounted on a Baltic Blue matte and surrounded by a luxurious cherry finish frame.
Brass and Silver finishes are mounted on a black matte within a black frame, which gives a very contemporary look.
